We welcome students of all ages and abilities and our tutorial and learner support programmes are designed to meet their needs, challenging them to reach their full potential.
Exeter College was established in 1970 as the first tertiary college in the UK, providing all post-16 education and training for the city of Exeter, bringing together the former grammar schools’ sixth forms and Exeter Technical College. In 2012 it became the first college in the country to undergo a no-notice inspection by Ofsted as part of the Government’s pilot inspection framework. Exeter College was graded Outstanding in all categories. Exeter College was later awarded the Times Educational Supplement FE Awards for Outstanding Provider of the Year 2012 and Outstanding Leadership of Learning and Skills 2012.
